Questions
What is the difference between a DOT inspection and an FHWA inspection?
They usually mean the same thing: the federal annual (periodic) inspection required by 49 CFR 396.17. FHWA administered it before FMCSA was created, so both names are still used.
Can you inspect our whole fleet at our yard?
Yes. We schedule inspections at your yard so trucks do not have to leave.
